We asked faculty and staff to share photos of their favorite recent high school graduates. Congratulations to all, and good luck as you continue your journeys!
Evan Beckwith, son of Nicole Beckwith, director of the master of arts in nutrition science program in the Falk College of Sport, graduated from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He will major in film in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Colin Bevans, son of Patti Bevans, director of career services in the School of Information Studies, graduated from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He will major in finance in the Whitman School of Management and join the Renée Crown University Honors Program.
Reece Catalino, daughter of Karrie Catalino, RSO coordinator with Student Engagement, graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She will major in adolescent education at the University at Albany (SUNY Albany).
Josiah Cosby, son of Kasana Braithwaite, senior cashier with Cash Operations, graduated from the Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central. He plans to study finance at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.
Alexa Duda, daughter of Kristen Duda, externship and career advisor in the College of Law, graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She will major in communications sciences and disorders in the College of Arts and Sciences and join the Renée Crown University Honors Program.
Katie Fischer, daughter of Shannon Fischer, managing director, administration, in the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation, graduated from Lafayette Junior-Senior High School. She will be a dual major in entrepreneurship and finance in the Whitman School of Management.
Nathan Latreille, son of Amanda Latreille, faculty affairs specialist in the Office of Academic Affairs, graduated from Skaneateles High School. He will major in health and exercise science in the Falk College of Sport.
Bennie Laver, son of Anne Laver, associate professor in the Setnor School of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and University organist, graduated from the Rochester City School District’s School of the Arts. He will major in civil engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Stella Napolitano, daughter of Diana Napolitano, associate director of communications in the College of Arts and Sciences, graduated from Westhill High School. She will be an undecided major in the College of Arts and Sciences and join the Renée Crown University Honors Program.
Sophie Oliva, daughter of Colleen Oliva, career services and employer relations specialist in the School of Architecture, graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse. Sophie will take a gap year and major in fashion design in the College of Visual and Performing Arts beginning in Fall 2027. She is pictured with her parents, Colleen and Paul.
Lily Rapp, daughter of Lindsay Quilty, assistant dean for academic programs and student success in the Whitman School of Management, graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt High School. She will major in journalism at the University of Kentucky.
Nick Rayfield, son of Rob Rayfield, associate vice president, creative, in the Division of Communications and Marketing, graduated from Marcellus High School. He will be an undecided major in the College of Arts and Sciences and be a member of the men’s lacrosse team.
Sadie Ruddy, third from left, daughter of Kerin Ruddy, executive writer in the Division of Communications and Marketing, and Cort Ruddy, director of communications and media relations in the Maxwell School, graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She will major in studio art in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Sadie is pictured with her parents, siblings and grandfather.
Eve Stirling, granddaughter of Diane Stirling, academic research writer in the Division of Communications and Marketing, graduated from Colchester High School in Colchester, Vermont. She will attend Hamilton College and major in a science/society/technology path.
Rayniah Walker, daughter of Raymond Walker, custodian with Facilities Services, graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School. She will major in nursing at Onondaga Community College.
